Adobe Creative Cloud - ERROR: You Don't Have Access to Manage Apps
If you receive the following error when opening Adobe Creative Cloud, follow these steps. This error seems to be a permission issue, but it's really a tiny part of a bad program file.
Close all the Creative cloud processes as well as Adobe processes from Task Manager/Activity Monitor.
1.) Navigate to the following location.
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs\
macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/ServiceConfig.xml
2.) Locate the serviceconfig.xml file & copy it to your desktop folder. Open the file in Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (MacOS).
3.) In the serviceconfig.exe file, change the value of AppsPanel from false to true (the first false from the left).
4.) Save & Close the serviceconfig.xml file.
5.) Relocate the same file to the original folder & overwrite the original file with the new file.
6.) Restart your system & run the CC app.
