Computer Lab Maintenance
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance with which to enable KCAI Campus Technology (“CT”) to maintain top-notch computer labs, which faculty may use for classes and students may utilize to support their studies and creative work.
Definition
A “computer lab” refers to a space that houses one or more computers, peripherals, or other technology resources for students and faculty to use for class or the completion of work for classes.
Scope
This policy covers all academic departmental computer labs, the Jannes first and third-floor labs, the DeBruce testing lab, and the Beals Studio lab.
Policy
No food or drink is allowed in computer labs.
No computers, printers, or other peripherals shall be rearranged, removed from the lab, or otherwise moved by anyone other than Campus Technology staff. When computer labs must be rearranged for classes or special events, KCAI faculty and staff should contact Campus Technology with at least one week’s notice.
